Our Programs
We are building a strong network of STEM explorers across Latin America and beyond. All high school students in Latin America aged 13-17 can apply for membership to gain access to all our core programs.
Clubs
Mission i's STEM Clubs provide a platform for students to push the boundaries of scientific discovery while collaborating with peers, exploring their interests and competing for exciting prizes — such as STEM experiences at renowned institutions. Each club follows a structured curriculum aligned with our annual international intercollegiate competition, where teams from different Mission i clubs showcase their projects and innovations. Challenges are designed to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Examples of Yearly Competitions:
High-altitude balloon launch
Remote-control car design (racing)
CubeSat testing on Vomit Comet
Analog astronaut mission
Robot battle
And more!
Mentorship
Our Mentorship Program connects motivated Latin American students with a vast pool of mentors from diverse STEM backgrounds, ranging from college students to highly accomplished professionals for personalized guidance and support.
15-MIN ADVISING MEETINGS
A space where students can chat with seasoned professionals in the field to get career advice and add new connections to their network. Members can use Mission i’s platform to schedule one-on-one virtual meetings at their convenience.
EDUCATIONAL WEBINARS
Guest speakers from various STEM disciplines share their expertise and experiences, providing diverse perspectives in topics ranging from emerging technologies to career development tips. Our webinars provide a platform for continuous learning and professional growth.
Scholarships
Mission i wants members to dream big and without barriers. This scholarship is designed to connect Latin American students with existing opportunities across the globe, thus bridging the gap that can exist between their dreams and the opportunities that are available to them.
Mini Challenges
Mission i will share STEM challenges through its social media to invite the Latin American public to generate a hypothesis, solve problems, and/or explain concepts in exchange for an experience related to different STEM activities. For example, Mission i could ask followers to decipher why the helicopter propellers shown on a video look like they aren't moving for a chance to win a helicopter flight at a local heliport.
